Frequently Asked Questions

1How far in advance shall we order our cake?
For weddings between April and September, I recommend booking 6 to 9 months in advance, as peak summer dates fill quickly. For the rest of the year, 5 to 6 months is usually ideal. If your wedding date is sooner, please still reach out. If I have studio availability, I will always do my absolute best to accommodate your celebration.
2Can you recreate a wedding cake design we found online?
You are very welcome to share designs you love as inspiration. While I do not reproduce another artist's work, seeing what you are drawn to helps me understand your unique style and aesthetic. From there, I will bring those ideas together with the details of your own celebration—from your wedding venue and florals to your stationery and personal style—to create an original, bespoke design that feels completely your own.
3Do you offer wedding consultations?
Yes. Once you submit the enquiry form and I confirm availability, we’ll schedule a relaxed design consultation call to discuss your ideas, style, and what you’re envisioning for your wedding cake. After our conversation, I’ll prepare a personalised proposal for you to review. If everything feels right, we’ll move forward with securing your date.
4How do we secure our wedding date?
A €150 booking fee secures your wedding date exclusively in my studio calendar. The remaining balance is due 28 days before the wedding and is fully payable by bank transfer.
5Do you deliver and set up the cake on the wedding day?
Yes. All wedding cakes include a professional delivery and set-up service to ensure the cake is displayed beautifully and safely at your venue. I deliver throughout Dublin and within a two-hour radius of my cake studio, including Kildare, Meath, and Wicklow. If your venue is further afield, please get in touch, I’m always happy to discuss possibilities. Delivery is quoted based on your venue location and will be included in your proposal.
6What size wedding cake should I order?
The size and number of tiers will depend on your guest count, venue space, and the overall visual impact you want your centerpiece to have.During our creative design process, I will guide you through the best sizing options to ensure your custom wedding cake is perfectly proportioned for your celebration—both in visual style and in cake servings.
7How do we choose our wedding cake flavours?
The tasting is one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding planning process—a chance to savour the flavours and imagine your centerpiece coming to life. I will guide you through combinations that complement each other beautifully. To help you decide, a complimentary Wedding Cake Tasting Box featuring a selection of signature Italian-inspired flavours is included for all booked couples and available to collect from my studio in Malahide, Co. Dublin. If you would prefer to taste my recipes before securing your date, sample tasting boxes are also available to purchase separately for €60 (non-refundable and independent of final cake pricing).
8Do you cater for people with dietary requirements and allergies?
My custom recipes are crafted using premium ingredients that include gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts. Because all cakes are produced in an artisan environment where these elements are present, I am unfortunately unable to offer allergy-safe, gluten-free, or vegan wedding cakes. Full allergen details are gladly provided upon request and are always included with your cake order on delivery.
